Mama Bass

Mama Bass was one of my first bass versions for the T.Family collection. In the beginning I was already sure that I’d like to design a body shape that would work as a both – guitar and bass. And like with guitars I could mass-up with all the best combinations and features from the world of bass. And even more, mix up with bass and guitar features together.

This cool and simple setup has vibes from ´51 P-bass with a twist from Mostrite. The pickup is my own design called “Bass bar”. It’s a simple one-coil pickup with big 9mm Alnico5 magnets and P90 sized cover. Nice fat sound and cool looks!
